Double shaded for 30 days, this single cultivar gyokuro hails from the Nagatani Tea’s own field in the famous tea producing region, Ujitawara, Kyoto prefecture
The gokou cultivar is an unregistered cultivar that was specifically made to suit the soil and climate of Kyoto prefecture. This cultivar is very well-suited for shading and therefore makes a high quality gyokuro!
